One of Our Copper Baths, Our Finest Heated Towel Rail And A Radiator Feature In Corrie!
At Renaissance At Home, we build fine products that are made to last. With that in mind, it’s very fitting that some of them were chosen to feature in an episode of Coronation Street! On 15th July, one of our Copper Baths, our heated towel rail and of our radiators graced the set of a luxury hotel room, in an episode where Tyrone Dobbs and Phill Whittaker visited the honeymoon suite, which was originally booked for Fiz Stape and Phill. While we’re big fans of the acting skills of the Corrie cast and the scriptwriters’ plot lines, we’d like to think that it was our products that really stole the show that night.
Our Beautiful Bath Took Centrestage
Under the bright studio lights, the Alverton Copper Hurlingham Bath in a brushed Copper finish really had the opportunity to shine. Having the bath and actors both in shot at the same time helped to display the true scale of this bath, as well as the proportions of the Colossus Horse heated towel rail.
Holding 280 litres, our Alverton Copper Hurlingham Bath has a wide, deep basin, which is perfect for relaxing. Looking at the stills from the episode, the set designers have utilised the limited space they were working with incredibly well, proving that a bedroom doesn’t need to be enormous to have a freestanding bath in it. If you have a bedroom of a similar size, why not incorporate one into your next redesign design too?
The Role Of The Heated Towel Rail
In a smaller room to the side of the main room sat the Colossus Horse Steel Towel Rail Copper – 935mm x 625mm. Standing proud, this version of our largest heated towel rail was the perfect companion to the Alverton Copper Hurlingham Bath. Should you choose to buy this heated towel rail for your home, it’s worth knowing that it is supplied unlacquered. You have the option to leave the surface to tarnish naturally as it ages or to maintain the original finish by polishing it regularly.
Alternatively, you could opt for the Colossus Horse Steel Towel Rail Chrome – 935mm x 625mm. As well as being pleasing to the eye and practical, a heated towel rail from Renaissance at Home will also heat your bathroom, meaning it will help to deter damp and mould, which can be bad for your health.
Radiate Both Heat And Character
Completing the look, to the right of the bed was the Ribbon 2 Column Radiator. To fit in with the metallic décor of the room, this radiator was finished in Antique Hammered Gold. To help this radiator fit perfectly into your home’s colour scheme, it comes in several finishes and over 1,000 colours including the full Farrow & Ball, Roberson Liquid Metal and Little Greene ranges. Colour customisation options are available on all of our Cast Iron Radiators.
As it sat on a large wall, the Ribbon 2 Column Radiator was chosen at a height of 795mm. You’ll be glad to know that it is also available in two other heights of 500mm and 650mm to fit a range of spaces, such as under a window or shelf.
